About This Manual
Purpose
This manual provides the introduction and procedures to install Risco Services required for running Risco
Access Control (RAC) System.
Intended Audience
This document is intended for the system administrators who will install Risco Services.
Prerequisites for Use
Basic knowledge of Windows and installing applications using InstallShield wizards is a prerequisite for
understanding this manual. Understanding of XML file editing is required. Basic understanding of Windows
Services and Queues is required for using this manual.
Organization of the Manual
Introduction provides a brief about the services and lists down the prerequisites required for installing
these services.
Getting started with the Installation describes the process to install Risco Services in complete or
customized manner.
Starting the Services describes the steps to start Risco Services post installation.
Repairing or Removing Risco Services provide the process to repair, remove and modify Risco Services.
Appendix A provides the list of queues and NCache Nodes required for each of the services.
Contact provides the contact details of Risco.
