Quick Guide for Installing Risco Services
Prerequisites for installation:
• Machines where Risco Services will be installed should have Windows XP or Windows Vista installed.
• Users who will install the services should have administrative rights on the machines.

1. Verify if the required services are running before installing
Risco Services. In addition, verify if all the prerequisites are
fulfilled.

2. Double-click the Risco Services InstallShield Wizard and
follow the steps as given in the wizard.

3. In the Setup Type dialog box, select Complete to install all
services.
4. Select Custom to select services as per your requirement.
5. If you select the Custom option, you need to cancel the
services which are not required in the Custom Setup dialog
box and install the rest.

6. Enter the required data in the Change Configuration dialog
boxes.

7. Click Install to install the services. Pg no. 31, Figure 30: Ready to

8. After all Services are installed, click Finish to exit the wizard. Pg no. 32, Figure 32: InstallShield
Wizard Completed
9. Go to the Computer Management window on your local
machine (where the services are installed) and start all
services currently required.
