Physical Keyboard
If you use a physical keyboard with your device, you can
still show the virtual keyboard on the screen.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
2. Tap General management > Language and input >
Physical keyboard for options:
• Show virtual keyboard: Show the virtual
keyboard while a physical keyboard is also being
used.
• Keyboard shortcuts: Show available keyboard
shortcuts on the screen as buttons.
Handwriting Recognition Language
Handwriting can be recognized in S Note and Action
Memo. Use this option to select a language that will be
used by the device to recognize your handwriting.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
2. Tap General management > Language and input
3. Under Handwriting recognition, tap Language.
• Tap Select input languages to select a new
language.
