QUICK START — HOW TO GET GOING
To operate the DVD system:
To ensure proper disc operation, check disc for finger prints, scratches
and cleanliness. Clean with a soft cloth, wiping from center to edge.
Due to the advanced features utilized in the creation of some DVDs, the
DVD player may experience minor navigation difficulties. This should not
affect your enjoyment of the feature program.
1. Ensure that the vehicle ignition is in the RUN or ACCESSORY
position.
2. Press AUX on the radio if the radio is off. (This turns on the audio
system).
3. Press PLAY ( ) on the DVD face.
If a DVD is already present in the system, the disc will begin to play in
about 15 seconds. If the disc is stopped, press PLAY (
). Go to Step 5.
If there is no disc, the background DVD screen will be on with the “no
disc” and stop symbols and the radio will display NO DVD/CD.
4. Insert a DVD. The disc will begin to play in approximately 15 seconds.
If the disc is stopped, press PLAY.
5. If the resume icon ( ) is displayed, press PLAY to resume the
movie from previously stopped position.
6. If the DVD defaults to a disc menu, press BRIGHTNESS ( / ),
SEEK ( / ) or the CURSOR buttons on the remote to highlight
“Play movie”, then press PLAY or SELECT on the remote or on the main
DVD face.
7. For audio over the headphones, press the / button on the DVD
face or HEADPHONE ( ) on the remote.
Note: This will activate Dual Play and the rear speakers will mute.
8. To listen to the audio on the infrared (IR) wireless headphones, push
the power button on the left ear piece. Wired headphones (not included)
can be plugged into the jacks by the display hinge.
9. Adjust the volume for the IR wireless headphone with the rotary dial
on the right earpiece. Adjust the volume for the wired headphones (not
included) using the VOLUME +/- buttons on the DVD bezel controls or
remote control.
10. Select the audio source for the headphones with SRC on the DVD
front panel or SOURCE on the remote control.
