Activating/deactivating parental control

• Press DISPLAY or OSD for User preference settings, then

four

times to select ACCESS CONTROL in the features menu and then
twice.

• Enter your four digit code. If necessary, enter the code a second time.
• Select ’Parental level’ using

/

.

• Select ’Value adjustment’ (1–8) using

.

• Use

/

to select the desired rating of 1–8.

Rating 0: This rating is displayed as ’- -’ and indicates that the Parental
Control is not activated. The disc will be played in full.

Rating 1–8: The disc contains scenes not suitable for children. If you set
a rating for the player, all scenes with the same rating or lower will be
played. Higher rated scenes will not be played unless an alternative is
available on the disc. The alternative must have the same rating or a
lower one. If no suitable alternative is found, playback will stop and the
four digit code has to be entered.
• Press SELECT on the remote, MEMORY, MEM or

to confirm, then

press DISPLAY or OSD to exit the menu.

Changing your four digit code

Your FES system enables you to control what your children may/may not
see using a special four digit code to permit/not permit access to certain
movies and/or scenes. To change your four digit code:

1. Press DISPLAY or OSD for User preference settings, then

four

times to select ’Access control’ in the features menu and then

twice.

2. Enter the old code.

3. Select ’Change code’ using

.
