between Single Play and Dual Play.
• Mutes the rear speakers while the front speakers remain active and
the headphone jacks are activated.
• Allows the front seat passengers to select their desired playing media
without affecting the rear seat passengers.
• Allows the rear seat passengers to select their desired playing media
(DVD, AUX, tuner, tape or CD) by pressing SOURCE on the remote or
SRC on the DVD player.
• Front and rear seat passengers can select the same media. For
example, DVD SHARED or AUX SHARED will appear on the radio
display.
• Automatically activates the wireless headphone transmitter.
• Provides audio through the headphones and allows rear seat
passengers full control of headphone volume levels.
When returning to Single Play from Dual Play, the rear seat/headphone
source will turn off and the rear speakers will turn on to the radio source
selection (playing media). If DVD or AUX is desired, press the SOURCE
button on the DVD player or the remote.
Auto-resume
The FES system will automatically resume DVD playback (from the
previous viewing point) when the ignition is turned off and on again or
when DVD mode is selected again. If a previously viewed disc is inserted
that was stopped during playback, it will resume from the same point if
the PLAY/SEL button is pressed when the resume icon appears.
Settings save
Your FES will automatically save brightness, volume and DVD position
settings if the vehicle ignition is turned OFF during FES play.
Ignition off operation
The FES system will allow you to insert or eject a disc (with the eject
button on the front panel only) when the vehicle ignition is turned OFF.
(The LCD display will remain off during this operation).
