Symptoms Possible Cause/Remedy
No wireless headphone audio
• Press the 2 and 4 radio buttons
together or the headphone/speaker
button on the DVD player or
remote for Dual Play mode.
• Check on/off button (left
ear-pierce)
• Check the volume control and
power indicator (right ear-piece)
• Press the radio AUX button for
DVD/CD mode (there will be no
sound in Auxiliary mode without
an audio device connected and
operating.)
• Replace the two AAA batteries.
Wireless headphone doesn’t
respond to front panel/remote
Volume button
• This is normal system operation.
The wireless volume control is on
the right ear-piece.
Distorted picture or picture
freezes
• Check the disc for fingerprints
and clean with a soft cloth, wiping
from center to edge
• This is normal system operation
if the disc is excessively scratched.
Distorted or Black/White picture
with DVD or Video CD
• The disc TV format (PAL/NTSC)
does not match the FES system
format.
Picture is too bright or dark
• Adjust the brightness at the
front panel or the remote control.
