6. Enter the code a second time and reconfirm by pressing SELECT on
the remote, MEMORY, MEM, or
while at the desired digit.
7. Press DISPLAY or OSD to exit the menu.
If you forget your four digit code
1. Press to exit the ’Enter code’ screen. The disc will eject.
2. Push the disc back in (or wait 10 seconds).
3. Press PLAY ( /SEL) to restore the code.
4. Select ’Access control’ in the features menu using / .
5. You can enter a new code (twice) as described in
Activating/deactivating the child lock.
Setting your country
Certain DVDs are equipped with ’Parental control’ software which will
work in conjunction with your system. This feature allows you to turn
access on or off for certain discs or scenes. The ’Parental control’
software rates scenes and DVDs, depending on the country setting.
Ensure that your country is set correctly to enable an accurate rating. To
set your country:
1. Press DISPLAY or OSD for User preferences, settings, four times
to select ACCESS CONTROL in the features menu and then twice.
2. Select ’Change country’ using the key. .
3. Press the key.
4. Select a country using / .
5. Press SELECT on the remote, or MEMORY, MEM or to confirm,
then press DISPLAY or OSD to exit the menu.
Playing an audio CD
Audio CDs contain music tracks
only and are recognizable by their
logo.
To play an audio CD in the DVD system:
• Insert the CD into the DVD system if one is not already present.
Playback will begin automatically. (The six disc changer radio must be
on — in AM, FM, CD, DVD/CD or AUX mode).
