Activating/deactivating the child lock (for DVD video and video CD)
Your FES system allows you to access a lock for child safety. A four digit
code must be entered for access once the lock is activated.
1. Select ACCESS CONTROL by pressing DISPLAY or OSD for User
preference settings,
four times for Access control and twice for

2. Enter a four digit code of your choice using / / / . Press
SELECT on the remote, MEMORY or MEM or while at the desired
digit.
3. Enter the code a second time if required.
4. Move to CHILD LOCK using / .
5. Move to LOCK/UNLOCK using .
6. Select LOCK using / .
7. Press SELECT on the remote, MEMORY, MEM or to confirm, then
press DISPLAY or OSD to exit the menu.
Unauthorized discs will not be played unless the four digit code is
entered.
8. To deactivate CHILD LOCK, select UNLOCK.
Note: Confirmation of the four digit code is necessary when the code is
entered for the first time, the code is changed, or the code is cancelled.
