CHANGING THE INITIAL SETTINGS (cont.)
To change the programme position number
assigned to a station
1
Show the confirmation screen for Manual Channel
Setup.
1 Press SET UP .
2 Press 3 or 2 to move to “INITIAL SET UP,” then
press ∞ .
3 Press 3 or 2 to move to “TUNER SET,” then
press ENTER .
4 Press ∞ or 5 to move to “MANUAL CH SET,”
then press ENTER .
2 Press 3 / 2 / ∞ / 5 to select a programme position
number in which a station you want to move is
stored, then press ENTER.
The channel number (under “CH”) and station name
(under “ID”) start flashing.

Press 3 / 2 / ∞ / 5 to select a new programme
position number for the station you have selected,
then press ENTER.
• Example: If you moved the station in position 4 to
position 2, the stations originally in
positions 2 and 3 are reassigned the new
position numbers.
4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary.
5 Press SET UP three times to finish the setting.
To fine-tune the station channel
1 Show the confirmation screen for Manual Channel
Setup.
1 Press SET UP.
2 Press 3 or 2 to move to “INITIAL SET UP,” then
press ∞ .
3 Press 3 or 2 to move to “TUNER SET,” then
press ENTER .
4 Press ∞ or 5 to move to “MANUAL CH SET,”
then press ENTER .

Press 3 / 2 / ∞ / 5 to select a programme position
number in which a station you want to fine tune is
stored, then press ENTER.
The channel number (under “CH”) and station name
(under “ID”) start flashing.
3 Press ENTER again.
The Manual Channel Setup screen appears.
4 Press 3 repeatedly until “+/–” begins flashing.

Press ∞ or 5 to fine tune the picture to obtain the
best picture.

Press ENTER.
The confirmation screen appears.

Repeat steps 2 to 6 to fine tune other stations.
8 Press SET UP three times to finish the setting.
To assign the station names
To assign the preset station names (see the tables on
pages 73 and 74)
1 Show the confirmation screen for Manual Channel
Setup.
1 Press SET UP.
2 Press 3 or 2 to move to “INITIAL SET UP,” then
press ∞.
3 Press 3 or 2 to move to “TUNER SET,” then
press ENTER.
4 Press ∞ or 5 to move to “MANUAL CH SET,”
then press ENTER.

in which a station you want to assign a name to is
stored, then press ENTER.
The channel number (under “CH”) and station name
(under “ID”) start flashing.
3 Press ENTER again.
The Manual Channel Setup screen appears.
4 Press 3 repeatedly until
the station name (under
“ID”) starts flashing.
5 Press ∞ or 5 to select a
new station name.
• Each time you press the
button, preset names
change.
