Staple print*

(*In the PRINT mode only)

The staple print mode can be selected for stapling printed sets in the
size of 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", 8-1/2" x 11", 8-1/2" x 11"R, 8-1/2" x 13", 8-1/2"
x 14", and 11" x 17".

NOTE:

In the COPY mode, which delivers the paper face up, this function is
not available.

Check the operation panel to confirm that the ONLINE
indicator is lit. If not lit, press the “PRINT” key to enter
the print mode and then press the ONLINE key on the
touch panel.

An optional power supply kit (AR-PX4) and an optional printer
controller (AR-PE2) are needed for the printing from computer.

Check the paper tray(s) to ensure that the desired paper
is loaded.

The maximum number of sheets for stapling is 20 for paper in the
size of 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", 8-1/2" x 11", 8-1/2" x 11"R, 8-1/2" x 13",
or 8-1/2" x 14" paper and 15 for 11" x 17" paper. If the maximum
is exceeded, the sheets will not be stapled.

Ensure that no paper remains in the output tray. Stapling will not
be done if paper remains at the start of the print job.

Make all print selections by the printer driver at your
computer and give the print command.

Refer to the documentation for the computer and/or the application
software for help on issuing the necessary commands.

The printed output will be stapled.

The printed sets will be delivered face down with one staple in
their top left edge.
