Recording mode
Starting Recording Mode
Recording a Movie clip
1. Insert the batteries(p.27). Insert the batteries taking note of the polarity (+ / -).
2. Insert the CARD(p.30). As this camera has an 8MB internal memory, you do not need to insert the
SD memory card. If the CARD is not inserted, an image will be stored in the internal memory. To
expand memory capacity, insert the CARD. If the CARD is inserted, an image will be stored on the
CARD.
3. Close the memory card cover.
4. Slide the power switch to turn on the camera. (When you turn on the camera power, the date/time
setting menu may be displayed. If the date/time is incorrect, reset the date/time before taking a
picture. (p.82)
5. Select the MOVIE CLIP( ) mode by rotating the mode dial.
6. The MOVIE CLIP mode icon and available recording time will display on the LCD monitor.

MOVIE CLIP mode
If the CARD is inserted in the camera, all the camera functions are applied only to the CARD.
If the CARD is not inserted in the camera, all the camera functions are applied only to the internal
memory.
