Attaching the belt clip

Press the belt clip against the rear of the handset until the side “lugs” latch into
the cut-away sections.

Activating/deactivating the handset

: To activate/deactivate the handset, long-press the “replace handset”

key – you will hear a confirmation tone

The handset will switch on automatically when the batteries have been insert-
ed after it has been placed in the base.

Activating/deactivating the key lock

You can “lock” the handset’s keypad, for example when carrying the handset
around with you. Accidental key actuations will then have no effect.
The keypad lock will be deactivated automatically if a call arrives and reactivat-
ed on completion of the call.
To answer a call: press the “lift handset” key
