Note: If the call reaches an answering machine, the
message will be recorded, but CPP Monitor 2000 will
be talking over your outgoing message, so you will
probably lose part of the first alarm message repeti-
tion.

Alarm Dialout - Beeper

When dialing out to a destination programmed as “Beeper,”
CPP Monitor 2000 leaves a number (usually the unit’s own phone
number) on the display of a numeric beeper.

IMPORTANT: When dialing out to a phone number
programmed as “Beeper,” CPP Monitor 2000 DOES
NOT speak a voice message. It calls the beeper
company or service, enters the number to be dis-
played on the beeper, then hangs up.

Alarm Dialout - Alphanumeric Pager

When dialing out to a destination programmed as “Alpha,” CPP
Monitor 2000 leaves a text message up to 80 characters long on the
display of an alphanumeric pager.

IMPORTANT: When dialing out to a phone number
programmed as “Alpha,” CPP Monitor 2000 DOES
NOT speak a voice message. It calls the pager
company or service, transmits the information to be
displayed on the pager, then hangs up.

Alarm Dialout - Modem

When dialing out to a destination programmed as “Modem,”
CPP Monitor 2000 waits for the phone to be answered by a modem,
establishes a data connection, then transmits its alarm message.
