3–12 Configuring the Printer
Follow these steps to save a new configuration:
1. Press ON LINE/
PAUSE
to take the printer off line.
OFF LINE
IMPACT PRINTER
2. Press for the following display:
USER CONFIG.
PAPER CONTROL
3. Press or until the following displays:
OFF LINE
CONFIG. CONTROL
4. Press
5. Press or until the following displays:
CONFIG. CONTROL
Save Config.
6. Press
7. Press or to cycle through the options (1–8). Note that “0” is
the default configuration and cannot be altered.
8. When the desired number displays, press to select it.
If the configuration number has been previously saved and the Protect Save CFG
option is enabled, the following error message displays:
CFG FILE EXISTS
DELETE FIRST
