Data Bit 8 DISABLE *
ENABLE
When data bit 8 is enabled, all 8 bits are used for data
bits, and characters in the 80–FF hex range can be ac-
cessed. When data bit 8 is disabled, only characters from
0–7F hex may be accessed.
Error
Markers DISABLE
ENABLE *
Enable prints the following error markers for those ele-
ments that print beyond the page boundaries:
>> for elements that begin off the right side of
the page;
<< for elements that begin at the indicated
position but end off the page;
for elements where the starting position of
the command contains an error other than
an off-page error.
Error Msgs DISABLE
ENABLE *
When enabled, command syntax is checked and error
messages printed when command parameters are incor-
rect. When disabled, error checking and error messages
are suppressed.
