EDTUDF Parameters
Description The description of the user-defined function as it will
appear on the ETU Main menu. It may be up to 32
character long.
Function The AS/400 command that will run when the menu option
is issued. Only the first 20 characters will be
displayed.
Mode Specifies how the command will execute when selected
from the ETU Main menu. Valid entries are:
*PMT Displays the prompt screen for the command
specified in the Function parameter.
Before the user-defined function can be executed,
you must define the command request by entering
values into the appropriate parameters.
*EXE Executes the user-defined option immediately upon
selection of the menu option. You will pre-define
the command request while using this EDTUDF
utility. Whenever you select the user-defined
option from the menu, the pre-defined command
request will execute.
