4)The following window will appear. Select the drive you want to format.
(Caution)
The drive lists shows all the devices connected to 1394,USB, SCSI port
on the PC. Be sure to select the drive connected to the U2SCXU.
5)Select the [Initialize MBR] button or [Physical Format] button.
Please note it will take a very long time, sometime, over one hour, to
complete physical format.
6)When completing, the message saying the procedure is finished will appear.
7)Remove the U2SCXU from the PC as described in Chapter 2-7 and then
turn off the SCSI device and reconnect the U2SCXUS and turn on the SCSI
device for your changes to take effect.
NOTE
1.Some SCSI device can’t be done with physical format.
2.After initializing MBR, you need to execute [Disk Management]
to create partition and format the SCSI disk. For more information,
refer to a Help file in Windows XP/2000.
