Term

Explanation

Measured value

The measured value is the operation result displayed on the main display of the Multi-Con-
troller in the RUN and TEACH modes. It is the value when each of the currently set func-
tions (e.g. hold) has been processed.

Present value

The present value is the current measurement result for the target Multi-Controller.
It is the value before each of the currently set functions (e.g. hold) has been processed.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT Key in the RUN mode to display the present value on the sub-
display.

Judgment output

“Judgment output” is a general term for the HIGH, PASS, and LOW outputs. Judgment out-
puts are made in the RUN or TEACH mode based on the display values and the threshold,
hysteresis width, and timer settings.

SmartMonitor Zero This is software that runs on a personal computer.

This software enables communication with ZS-MDC, sets the measurement conditions of
the Multi-Controller and gang-mounted Sensor Controllers, saves setting data, and dis-
plays measurement results as a graph.
