Note: If group selection is
programmed to the
SYSTEM/GROUP/CHANNEL knob,
direct access to groups will not be
available. Pressing the
< or >
will scroll through different sets of 16
groups each (banks) if more than 16
groups are programmed into the radio.
The groups within each bank are then
selectable via the
SYSTEM/GROUP/CHANNEL knob as
described in METHOD 1.
METHOD 2: From keypad: If group selection is
programmed as the primary function
of
< and > select a group by
pressing <or > to scroll through
the group list. The display registers
the new group name on line two.
METHOD 3: Direct Access: Press 2 to enter the
group select mode. Press the numeric
key which is mapped to the desired
group. Press
M. The radio will move
to the selected group.
