6.5 Tare
With the function "Tare“, a measured value
beginning at 0 % is created from the actual
measured value. The tare function can be
started via a key connected to correction
signal input 4.
The following steps are necessary to activate
the tare function:
• Connect a key (closer) to input 4.
• Choose in the menu item " Input from “ (un-
der the menu item " Tare “) input 4.
• Assign the tared value in the menu item
" Unit “ to the requested output (e.g. current,
volt, DIS, PC/DCS output, MET indication).
If you want to deactivate the tare function,
you first have to cancel taring in the menu
item "
Unit “. Then you have to cancel the allo-
cation of the correction input (input 4) under
the menu item "
