The belt path routing used to secure this car seat into a

vehicle is dependent on installation

WITH

or

WITHOUT

the Top Tether.

- If the Car Seat is installed

WITH

the Top Tether, the “FRONT

ENTRY” belt routing MUST be used.

- If the Car Seat is installed

WITHOUT

the Top Tether, the

“REAR ENTRY” belt routing MUST be used.

Note: Installation with Top Tether is recommended when a vehicle

tether anchor is available.

a. Baby Trend requires using the Top Tether provided with this

Car Seat whenever possible.

b. Installation of a car seat using the Top Tether can make getting

a secure installation easier and can reduce the risk of injury in a

crash. This car seat may be installed without the Top Tether

when a vehicle tether anchor is not available.

See “Belt routing options for installation” section for “FRONT ENTRY”

and “REAR ENTRY” belt routing information.
