Polling Other Fax machine
To use the Polling Rx function, you need to follow the preceding section to first
set the SFax Hotkey (the Program button) to be “Polling Rx”. And please also
note that the recipient’s fax machine needs to support this feature, too.
Otherwise, you can not use this function from this machine.
To use the Polling Rx function,
1. Make sure the SFax Hotkey as been specified as “Polling Rx” function.
2. Press the Fax button on the control panel.
3. Press the Program button and the LCD-display shows the following
information.
Polling RX
Enter Dest.
4. Enter the recipient’s fax number which you wish to poll the fax message. For
example, 1234567.

5. Press the Start button to start polling and receiving the fax. The MFP starts
calling the recipient’s fax number.
