Remotely Sending or Receiving Faxes
Specifying the Remote Access Code
The remote access code allows you to remotely send or receive faxes when you
are away from the product. Before you remotely send or receive your faxes, you
need to specify the remote access code first.
1.
Press the Menu button.
2.
Press the Right-arrow key until “7. FAX Setup” appears on the display.
3.
Press the Set button.
4.
Press the Right-arrow key until “716. Remote Ctl” appears on the display.
5.
Press the Set button.
6.
Press the Right-arrow key until “Tx” or “Rx” appears on the display. If you
wish to specify remote transmission code, choose Tx. If you wish to specify
remote transmission code, choose Rx
7.
Press the Set button.
8.
Enter your two-digit transmission or receiving access code. For example
“22”.

Press Num, Set
9.
Press the Set button to complete.
