6.3. STEP 2
The section of the Setup bar dedicated to step 2 looks like this:
Select Trigger
Set the type of trigger used to define inspection time instants (for trigger description, see paragraph
8.2). Your selection is added to the Inspection Explorer, in menu level Trigger:
"Continuous" trigger is the default trigger: even if you make no
selections from the corresponding menu, the system will set
up to analyse the image flow continuously.
Images are scanned uninterruptedly.
Select Control (selection of measurement/control tools)
Select the control you want to add to the inspection process. Once you have chosen the desired
control from the pull-down menu, it is added to current inspection and displayed in Inspection Explorer
in menu level "Tools". You may use this method to associate several controls to current inspection.
Once selected, the control must be positioned on the reference image in the work area: this is done
graphically by positioning and sizing its ROI.
When finished, the control panel displays the corresponding parameters that default to standard
settings: use the sliders or type the desired values in the number fields to customise control settings.
Control outcome is visually indicated by a STATUS indicator turning green or red. The border of the
ROI plotted on the image takes on the same colour.
