Therapy-Related Issues

Many factors, such as alcohol consumption, medications other than insulin,
ineffective or expired insulin, decreased activity, illness, and stress can affect
blood glucose levels. Contact your doctor or healthcare team for advice on how
to manage these or any other therapy related issues.

Troubleshooting Table

Problem

Individual characters, numbers, or
symbols on the display are shown
incompletely or not at all.

Your insulin pump does not beep
or vibrate.

Self-test incomplete (after an error
E7: ELECTRONIC ERROR).

Incorrect insulin delivery due to
incorrect time setting.

Incorrect insulin delivery due to
incorrect basal rate programming.

Recommended Actions

Contact Pump Support at
1-800-688-4578.

Check that the beep volume and alarm
signals are turned on. Check and
change the battery. If your insulin pump
still does not beep or vibrate, contact
Pump Support at 1-800-688-4578.

Remove the battery, wait a few
seconds, and insert it again. If the
self-test remains incomplete, contact
Pump Support at 1-800-688-4578.

The correct hourly basal rate cannot be
delivered if the time is not set correctly.
Check and reset the time if it is wrong.
Do the same check when you change
the battery.

Always review changes made in basal
rate programming. Confirm that you are
using your correct basal rate profile.
