Precautions: Input/Output Signal Lines

• Input and output signal lines must be separated from operating circuit power cables.

If this is not possible, use a shielded cable and connect the shield to the FP chassis.

• Connect the FP unit's FG terminal to

an exclusive ground. [diagram (a) -
Grounding resistance of under 100

.]

• If exclusive grounding is not possible,

use a common connection point.
[diagram (b)]

• The grounding wire should have a

cross sectional area greater than
2mm

2

. Make the connection point as

close to the FP unit as possible, and
make the wire as short as possible.
When using a long grounding wire,
replace the thin wire with a thicker
wire placed in a duct.

• If this equipment does not function

properly when grounded, disconnect
the ground wire from the FG terminal.
