3-2.3 Installing IIS on Windows 7

These instructions detail the process for installing IIS on a Windows 7 computer.

Select

Small Icons on the top right to open up the complete list of Control Panel options. Select

Programs and Features from the Control Panel list, as illustrated below in Figure 3-12.

Verify if IIS has previously been installed on the Windows 7 computer by opening

Control Panel from

the Windows

Start menu, as illustrated below in Figure 3-11.

It is recommended to have the server computer's initial configuration settings set by the site IT Manager.
