4-2.6 Set iComm Connection Properties

Once your iComm Server Settings are correct, select each Device and check the internal Device

Settings correspond correctly with the iComm Server, as illustrated below in Figure 4-11, Figure 4-12

and Figure 4-13.

You can import devices and points to an iComm Server in the Points Manager. Right click on the iComm Server and

select Import Points to locate and import from a valid Genesis or MAXIM configuration file.

NOTE

The most cricital item on this window is the Remote Device Name Field, which uses the format [iComm Server

Connection ID]:[Device ID]. So for a device at address 1 on iComm connection 1, its correct Remote Device Name

Field would be 1:1
