Last Track Erasing (takes a few seconds.
This function is not possible on a finalized
CD-RW.)

Load a CD-RW disc which has been recorded on.

Press the ERASE button.

÷ The display panel successively displays “LAST”, “TRACK”

and “ERASE?”. Then the function indicator blinks orange
indicating that the recorder is in Last Track Erasing standby
mode. The display panel displays the number of the track that
can be erased and “TRACK” and “ERASE.”

÷ Do not allow more than 8 seconds to elapse after step 2

has been performed before proceeding with step 3.

Press the

8 button to start Last Track Erasing.

÷ The function indicator lights in orange and Last Track Erasing

starts.

÷ During Last Track Erasing, the number of the track being

erased and “**” “TRACK” “ERASE” blink successively.

The unit is put in the stop mode when Last Track
Erasing is complete.

TOC Erasing (takes approximately 3
minutes for a finalized CD-RW)

Load a CD-RW disc that has been recorded and
finalized.

Press the ERASE button.

÷ “TOC”, “ERASE?” are displayed successively.

÷ The function indicator blinks in orange indicating that the

recorder is in TOC Erasing mode.

÷ Do not allow more than 8 seconds to elapse after step 2 has

been performed before proceeding with step 3.

Press the

8 button to start the TOC Erasing.

÷ The function indicator lights orange and TOC Erasing starts.

÷ During TOC Erasing of a finalized CD-RW disc, “ERS *:**” is

displayed showing the time required to complete the
process. This time display counts down showing remaining
time to completion.

The recorder stops when TOC Erasing is
completed.
