Selecting the mode setting of each item

is the default setting.

Menu items differ depending on the position of the POWER switch. The screen shows
only the items you can operate at the moment.
The POWER switch is the name of the switch on the DCR-TRV50. It is referred to as
MEMORY on the DCR-TRV40.

Changing the default settings with the menu
