Viewing OSPF Global Parameters
To define and display OSPF Global parameters:
Select IP Route > OSPF > OSPF Global Parameters. The OSPF Global Parameters
window opens.

The following parameters are displayed:

Field Description
OSPF Router ID The ID number of the router. The router ID must be unique. By default,
the router ID equals one of the router’s IP addresses.
OSPF Global
Status The administrative status of OSPF in the router. If not checked, OSPF
is not active on any interface, regardless of the settings in the OSPF
Interfaces window.
Redistribute RIP
into OSPF Controls redistribution of routes from RIP to OSPF. If checked, all
routes learned via RIP are advertised into OSPF as external routes.
