Configuring Basic DHCP Options
The DHCP Server - General Tab provides basic configuration options for activating the DHCP
service.

Field Description
Mode Administrative status of the DHCP service. Possible values are:
● Enable
● Disable
Ping Detection When enabled, the DHCP server sends a ping packet to detect an
IP address conflict, before actually allocating the IP address to the
DHCP client. Possible values are:
● Enable
● Disable (default value)
