Always replace the spring loaded t-handle pin in each outrigger pin if
broken.
 The outrigger is held in place with a t-handle pin. Do not use if the t-handle
is missing. Replace before use.
 Check to see that the deck gate chain or drop-bar is in place. Do not use
machine if missing.
Hydraulics – ATF Mercon/Dexron III Hydraulic Oil
 Check hoses for any leaks or wear.
 Check oil level in the reservoir. Oil level should be 2 inches or 51 millimeters
below the top of fill tube when the lift is fully lowered. Total oil capacity is
3 gallons or 11.36 liters. Do not overfill as this will result in fluid discharge
from the tank vent plug.
 Vent plug on cylinder should be free of external debris. Do not use lift if
vent plug on cylinder is missing. Replace vent plug with factory supplied plug
before use.
Scissors Stack
 Check scissors stack connections for wear.
 A washer and external snap ring hold stack sections in place. Do not operate
lift if snap ring or washer is missing. Replace before use.
 Scissors stack sections require no lubrication
Battery and Charger
Interstate SRM-29 or equivalent is the recommended battery.
Schauer JAC2-24H is automatic 24v charger.
