8. At the DOS window, type

telnet 192.168.1.200

9. Login using the Username “

admin

”, and a Password of

welcome

” (Figure 9).

10. Type

ipconfig and set the IP address and the subnet mask

(provided by the Network Administrator) for each Network

Receiver (Figure 10). For example, to set the IP address to

192.168.1.200

, the subnet mask to

255.255.255.0

and the

gateway to 192.168.1.1use the command:

ipconfig –a

192.168.1.200 –m 255.255.255.0 –g 192.168.1.1

NOTE

In Figure 10, notice that the IP address for the receiver is

different from the address for the PC being used to program it. A

typical scenario would be for the last three digits to increment by

one for each address.

The Set IP address (

-a

) command, the Set subnet mask (

-m

)

and gateway (

-g

)command must be used together (-g)
