5. Make sure that "Enable write caching on the disk" is checked.
Note: This feature improves disk performance, but is recommended only when a UPS is present.
6. Click the "OK" button to complete the process.
Configuring the Windows "Performance" Properties
1. Select "Start", "Settings" and then "Control Panel" from the Start Menu.
2. Double click the "System" icon in the "Control Panel" window.
3. In the "System Properties" window, click on the "Performance" tab.
