5.
Insert the AC power cable into the AC
power block as shown.
6.
Attach the RJ-45 cable to the network
connector on the instrument. If using Direct
Connection, use the gray cable from the
instrument accessory kit.
If using network connection, do not use
the gray cable, as it is a “UTP crossover”
cable and will not work with a network.
Use a network cable as described in section
3.0.
7.
Close the outer cover of the instrument.
Push gently to the final closed position. It
should latch securely.
8.
Position the sampling module directly in
front of the monochromator.
This photo shows the mating connection
plates, prior to final alignment and
assembly. The locating pins help find the
final position.
The latches are used to lock the module in
position.
