Polling Tx (Polling Transmission)
Save the document on the memory and then send it when you want to fax. If this function is used, the receiver
will be charged for the fee.
1 Place the original. Set the resolution and the density on the FAX screen.
① Select Extended on Fax screen and set Polling Tx to On.
2 Press 【 】 button.
3 Scan the original and save it in the memory, and the operation ends.
Delay Transmission(Delay Tx)
You can send the document at the designated time without sending it instantly. When it becomes
the designated time, the document saved on the memory is automatically sent.
1 Enter numbers using the numerical key, speed dial key or address book. The method of entering phone
numbers is same as the case in Polling Tx.
2 Set Delay Tx to On in Extended menu on FAX screen.
3 Select the transmission time.
4 Press 【 】 button
5 The machine scan the original and save it in the memory and the operation. When the time is on, it trans-
mits the fax.
