Confidential Tx (Transmission)
If this function is on, only the one who knows the password can print the fax on the receiver`s side.
1 You can decide on the confidential Tx through [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Tx Settings] [Confidential Tx].
2 Press ◀ , ▶ to set the confidential Tx
3 Press【Save】to save the setting.
- When it is [ON], you need to enter the password.
Use the number pad to enter a 4-digit password, and then press Save.
Normal Scan Wait
When you scan from the flatbed scanner glass, if there is no further action within Normal Scan Wait time for
the next scan, the scan job comes to an end.
1 You can decide on the scan waiting time for the next original document through [Error report] [Settings]
[Fax Settings] [Tx Settings] [Normal Scan Wait].
2 Press input filed to enter your number while the cursor is blinking.
- Normal Scan Wait time can be selected from 0~120(sec) and the default is 30.
3 Press Save button to select the next document waiting time, and them save the setting.
Duplex Scan
When scanning with automatic document feeder(ADF), if Duplex is on, the images on both sides of the original
are scanned.
1 You can decide on duplex scan through [Error report] [Settings] [Fax Settings] [Fax Tx Settings]
[Duplex Scan].
2 Press the button to select Duplex scan On or Off.
3 Press 【Save】 button to apply the selected setting for Duplex scan.
