Rejects faxes with no caller identification.

1-touch/code unset (MX860 series)*, Coded dial unset (MX330 series)*
Rejects faxes from the senders not registered to the speed dial codes.

* This setting may not be available depending on the country or region of purchase.

Rejected numbers
Rejects faxes from the senders registered in the machine as rejected numbers.

If you select Rejected numbers, follow the procedure below to register a fax/telephone number to reject.

1.

Select Yes when the confirmation screen is displayed.

The list of rejected numbers is displayed.

2.

Use the

button to select the dial code to register, then press the

OK

button.

3.

Use the Numeric buttons to enter the fax/telephone number to reject, then press the

OK

button.

Data entry OK. is displayed on the LCD, then the LCD returns to the screen for registering a rejected

number.

4.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to continue registering numbers to reject.

You can register up to 10 rejected numbers.

Note

When the machine rejects reception, Reception rejected. is displayed on the LCD.
You can print the list of rejected numbers. For details, see

Faxes with no caller identification are also rejected when 1-touch/code unset (MX860 series),
Coded dial unset (MX330 series), or Rejected numbers is selected.

Registering/Editing/Deleting the Rejected Number on the TEL Number Registration Screen

You can register/edit/delete a rejected number from TEL number registration.

1.

Press the

FAX

button, then press the Menu

button.

The FAX menu screen is displayed.

2.

Use the

button to select

TEL number registration, then press the

OK button.

3.

Use the

button to select Rejected numbers, then press the

OK button.
