Oxygen Uptake Rate
The patient’s rate of oxygen consumption (oxygen uptake rate) is calculated from the patient’s
age, height, weight, and sex (see page 41). Alternately, a measured value can be entered.

To enter a measured value, delete numerals from the right by pressing

for each numeral to be deleted, then enter the measured value using the number
keys.

Check that the correct value is displayed, then press
