Positioning of shoulder harness and infant insert to fit infant’s size:
Check positioning of shoulder harness through seat back when first using the car seat and periodically after that
to verify correct fit and positioning of the harness for infant’s size.
Shoulder harness straps MUST be through:
- Shoulder harness slots at or just below infant’s shoulders.
- Shoulder harness slots in infant insert.
See “Operation and Adjustment” section to change position of harness.
NOTE: Infant insert MUST always be used with
small infants (fig. a & b).
Egg shock foam MUST be used at all times.
- When using infant insert, Egg Shock Foam MUST
be inside pocket on back of insert (see “Egg Shock
Foam” section).
- When infant insert is NOT used, Egg Shock Foam
MUST be inside pocket on back of seat pad.
