While editing using the DV connecting
cable, recording picture cannot be
monitored.

• Remove the DV connecting cable, and connect it

again.

The VCR becomes warm.

• If the power of the VCR is on for a long time, it

becomes warm, which is not malfunction.

No function works though the power is
on.

• Disconnect the connecting plug on the AC adaptor/

charger or the battery pack, then reconnect it in about
one minute. Turn the power on. If the functions still
do not work, press the RESET button at the bottom of
the VCR using a sharp-pointed object. (If you press
the RESET button, all the settings including the date

and time return to the factory setting.) (p. 82)

The numbers or letters of 5 characters is
displayed as a counter.

• Self-diagnosis function was activated.
