WARRANTY
CRAFTSMAN FULL WARRANTY
TWO YEARS ON RIDING EQUIPMENT
W hen operated and m aintained according to all supplied instructions, if this riding equipm ent
fails due to a defect in m aterial or w orkm anship w ithin tw o years from the date or purchase,
call 1-800-4-M Y-HO M E® to arrange for free repair.
Also, w hen operated and m aintained according to all supplied instructions. W arranty w ill
also cover defects in m aterial and workm anship of the Fram e and Front Axle for five years
from the date of purchase
This warranty covers ONLY defects in material and workmanship. Sears will NOT
pay for:
• Expendable item s that becom e w orn during norm al use, including but not lim ited to
blades, spark plugs, air cleaners, belts, and oil filters.
• Standard m aintenance servicing, oil changes, or tune-ups.
• Tire replacem ent or repair caused by punctures from outside objects, such as nails,
thorns, stum ps, or glass.
• Tire or w heel replacem ent or repair resulting from norm al w ear, accident, or im proper
operation or m aintenance.
• Repairs necessary because of operator abuse, including but not lim ited to dam age
caused by tow ing objects beyond the capability of the riding equipm ent, im pacting
objects that bend the fram e or crankshaft, or over-speeding the engine.
• Repairs necessary because of operator negligence, including but not lim ited to, electrical
and m echanical dam age caused by im proper storage, failure to use the proper grade
and am ount of engine oil, failure to keep the deck clear of flam m able debris, or failure to
m aintain the riding equipm ent according to the instructions contained in the operator’s
m anual.
• Engine (fuel system ) cleaning or repairs caused by fuel determ ined to be contam inated or
oxidized (stale). In general, fuel should be used w ithin 30 days of its purchase date.
• Norm al deterioration and w ear of the exterior finishes, or product label replacem ent.
All riding equipm ent and battery w arranty coverage is void if this product is ever used for
com m ercial or rental purposes.
This w arranty applies only w hile this product is within the United States.
This w arranty gives you specific legal rights, and you m ay also have other rights w hich
vary from state to state.
