To enter discrete destinations, double-click in the blank fields below the default destination and enter the universe/
device number and IP Address for the new destination. The IP address is where all data for fixtures using that
destination will be sent. Several different values can be entered in this field. There is a dropdown menu to help with
this process if you want to pick a particular interface or broadcast IP address. (Note that you must be in a Live Editing
session to view the available interfaces or broadcast IP addresses. Refer to

"Live Editing"

on page 53.)

+

Unicast IP Address - Enter a static IP Address (e.g.,2.23.45.136) to send all data for that destination to one single
IP Address.

Optionally you can send one destination’s data to up to four individual unicast IP addresses by separating the IP
addresses with a "+" when entering them. (e.g.,2.23.45.136+2.23.67.123)

+

Subnet Broadcast IP Address - Enter a subnet broadcast IP Address (e.g.,2.255.255.255) that matches the
subnet broadcast IP address of one Ethernet interface on the computer.

+

Physical Ethernet Interface Name - Enter the exact name of the Ethernet interface on the Mbox computer that
you want the data to be sent from. The data will automatically be sent to the IP address matching the subnet
broadcast IP address for that interface. (e.g. if the interface has an IP of 2.0.0.1 and a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0
then the data will be sent to 2.0.255.255)

IMPORTANT! For KiNET you should always use a static IP address!

The example below shows the correct way to enter the destination for the fixtures patched to device 303, port 1.
