12.1 Outputting current measurement data

12.2 Transmitting data

The meter has the following interfaces:

USB-B interface (USB Device)
e.g. to connect a PC

USB-A interface (USB Host),
e.g. to connect a USB flash drive/USB printer

Via the USB-B interface (USB Device) you can transmit data to a PC or printer
and update the meter software.

Via the USB-A interface (USB Host) it is possible to transfer data to an external
USB memory device/USB printer.

12.3 Connecting the PC / USB-B interface (USB Device)

Connect the MultiLab 4010-2 to the PC via the USB-B interface.

Installation of the

USB driver on the

PC

System requirements of the PC for installation of the USB driver:

PC with at least one free USB connection and CD-ROM drive

Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Output the current measurement data to an interface with <PRT>.

USB-B: e.g.: PC

USB-A: e.g.: printer or USB flash drive
(if no PC is connected)

Insert the supplied installation CD in the CD drive of your PC.

2.

Install the driver from the CD.
Follow the Windows installation instructions as necessary.

3.

Connect the MultiLab 4010-2 to the PC via the USB-B interface.
The meter is listed as a virtual COM interface among the connections in
the Windows instrument manager.
