2. Select the COM ports on the Pocket PC that are used by GPS receiver and the barcode scanner.

Tap More to open the Serial Settings dialog in which you can configure the communication
properties for the selected port. The default communication properties are 9600-None-8-1-None.
Tap OK.

Tip: If you are having trouble connecting the GPS receiver to the Pocket PC, you can set the
communication properties on the specified COM port to 4800-None-8-1-None.

3. In the Port property under iLON:, you can enter the port used by the Street Lighting Helper to

send SOAP requests to the SmartServer via iLonProxyPocket application. The default port is
8080.

Note: You can click Restore Defaults to return the connection settings to their defaults.

4. Click OK.

Configuring Street Lighting Helper Settings

You can also enable and set options for resolving location and Neuron ID conflicts and set the default
names for the devices when they are added to the SmartServer.

To configure the Street Lighting Helper connections, follow these steps:

1. Tap Program and then tap Settings. The Settings dialog opens.
