Vent Configuration: Vertical Termination

 The termination must fall

within the shaded area
shown in the chart. Use
the indicated restrictor
positions.

 Up to five elbows (45° or

90°) may be used.

 Only one horizontal elbow

may be used.

 6-5/8" (168mm) diameter

Simpson Dura-Vent Model
Direct-Vent Pro (or GS)vent
may be used for this
configuration. Attach a 8”
diameter 45° elbow to the
fireplace, connect a reducer
to the elbow (part #
98900165), then connect 6-
5/8” vent to the reducer.
Use the vertical high wind
cap (46DVA-VCH).
