4. Apply nominal sensing input voltage to the appropriate case terminals. A single voltage source may

be connected to paralleled relay sensing voltage inputs to simulate a three-phase source.

5. Apply a current source to the relay current sensing inputs and increase the current level until it is

greater than the underpower pickup point.

6. Remove the applied current so that the Underpower Pickup Indicator lights and record the interval

from the removal of current until actuation of the Underpower output.
The measured time delay should be 0.1 ±0.05 seconds.

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for an Underpower Time Delay Control setting of 05.

The measured time delay should be 0.5 ±0.05 seconds.

8. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for an Underpower Time Delay Control setting of 50 and an Underpower Time

Delay Multiplier Switch setting of x1.0.
The measured time delay should be 50.0 ±2.50 seconds.

Inverse Time (Overpower)
1. Connect the timer/counter so that timing begins when sensing current is applied, and ends when the

Overpower output energizes.

2. Make the following front panel setting adjustments.

Range Select Switch: LOW

Overpower Tap Selector: B

Overpower Time Delay Control: 05

Overpower Time Delay Multiplier Switch: x0.1

Underpower Pickup Selector: FULLY CCW

3. Adjust (but do not apply) the current source to a level that is 4 times the tap value. Apply the current

and measure the interval from current application to Overpower output activation.
The measured time delay should be 0.460 ±0.050 seconds.

4. Adjust (but do not apply) the current source to a level that is 1.5 times the tap value. Apply the current

and measure the interval from current application to Overpower output activation.
The measured time delay should be 1.048 ±0.053 seconds.

5. Adjust (but do not apply) the current source to a level that is 8 times the tap value. Apply the current

and measure the interval from current application to Overpower output activation.
The measured time delay should be 0.282 ±0.050 seconds.
