The Factory settings key
You can use the Factory settings configu-
ration window to cancel all new settings
and reset the system to the factory set-
tings.

The button Load map
The Traffic Assist operates using the map
data stored on the memory card. Pressing
the

Load map

button displays the loaded

map data.

in the settings menu.

The Load map settings menu appears.

> Select the desired map by pressing the

relevant button.

What is dynamic route guid-
ance?*

Dynamic route guidance calculates the
route, while taking into account current
traffic announcements.

Traffic announcements are transmitted by
radio stations via the TMC (Traffic Mes-
sage Channel) in addition to the radio
programme and are received and analysed
by the navigation system. Receiving traffic
announcements is free of charge.

Note:
Dynamic route guidance is not available
for all countries (currently only Belgium,
Germany, Denmark, France, Italy, The
Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Switzer-
land and Spain).
TMC reception must be available in or-
der to activate dynamic navigation and
the functions described below.
